Source material history
Each episode is taken from the best available fan copy sources that I have been able to find after many years of purchases and trades. In my experience, after watching hundreds of fan recorded MST3K episodes, I have found that many episodes vary in quality - some have outstanding video with bad audio tracks, and vice versa. With the help of a good friend with audio/video editing skills and my collection of MST3K source materials, I am now able to offer the best fan based audio/video sourced episodes of the series available on the planet.
The conversion details
Each standard definition episode is converted to high definition using a professional video editing multimedia device called the Canopus FIRECODER Blu (CFB). This card supports Toshiba’s Spurs Engine encoding technology, which provides state of the art Standard Definition (SD) to High Definition (HD) video clarity.

The TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 5 application is used with the CFB card for professional video editing of each MST3K episode. Enhanced tools and advanced color timing/correction methods are applied before each episode is finalized for HD conversion.
Goldwave is used for audio track syncing and cleaning each track of noise, scratches and tape hiss. Multiple audio tracks from varying individual episode sources have been used, to ensure the best possible audio clarity is synched with the best possible video elements.
Many weeks of time is dedicated to each individual episode in an attempt to make each episode’s video presentation stable and audio track as clean as possible before it is recorded to BluRay disc and becomes available on the website. Before/after screen shot comparisons are evaluated and multiple beta tests are run to validate each episode looks/sounds arguably superior to DVD on home theater entertainment systems. Every attempt is made to same ensure a quality product is created and offered on this website.
Episode technical details
*Video - 1920x1080i MPEG2 format, NTSC 29.97 FPS, variable bit rate of 28,000 to 30,000 per episode (no de-interlacing)
Audio - uncompressed 24 bit LPCM 2.0 Stereo Sound
All BDs include menus and chapters.
*Each MST3K episode was recorded in 4:3 full screen format and will be presented on Blu-Ray Disc in its original aspect ratio.

I cannot guarantee your viewing experience will be the same as mine when watching MST3K episodes on BluRay disc. I can say that in all the years of watching VHS tapes and DVDs of the show, what I am offering now on MST3Kvideos.com is the best looking and sounding fan copies available to date. Your ‘mileage may vary, of course. Your home theater equipment must support the ability to play BluRay discs and LPCM 2.0 audio for optimal results. those not interested or able to trade, I intend to ask $7.25 per BD. The BD are much more expensive for me to produce. Price is subject to change (up or down) based on my actual experience once I am able to offer them.
This includes
an unlabeled disc with the episode number noted on it in a plastic cd case.
You can add an Amaray DVD case with cover art for $1.60 per episode.
Email for a sample of my covers if you like. One to four BDs are
sent first class mail. Five or more BDs are sent US Postal Priority Mail.
There are no shipping fees for the U.S. or Canada. Foreign requests may require extraa postage but frequently do not.
Get nine BDs at one time and a tenth is
free. Compatibility concerns? Please start with one disc.

episode number(s) and title(s). Contact me for an bulk discount on requests of twenty or more individual episodes at once.
I also offer discounts for full seasons. Individual episodes from the seasons listed as available my be requested.
Amaray cases are an extra $1.60 per episode, $1.40 per episode for seasonal
